I checked their website - sometimes it's worth emailing a company, referencing a news story like this and asking for coupons at the same time. But the Kellogg's website has already answered the coupon request in their Frequently Asked Questions section:
Question:
Do you offer coupons to your consumers?
Answer:
While we appreciate your interest in our products, we are sorry,
but we do not have coupons available to send to consumers upon
request. Any coupons that we create are tied to our various
promotion and advertising efforts and can usually only be
obtained through participating in one of our promotion offers.
We hope that you will watch for these offers on television,
in your local paper, or on our product packages.
General Mills and Post, to name just two. Competition is the American way as far as I'm concerned!
