The latest Good Housekeeping magazine recommends keeping a shelf or closet stocked with general gift items you find on sale. It saves time and money to have a little stockpile of items you can use for hostess gifts or surprise reciprocation presents during the holidays. No more scrambling for gifts or overspending on gift items.
You can also keep items you intend to re-gift there, but they recommend you keep the gift tags - I guess so you don't accidentally re-gift it to the person who gave it to you! Wow, that would be embarrassing.
Do you re-gift?
